MAX MARA - PREVIEW FALL/WINTER 2010 EYEWEAR COLLECTION
For next season Max Mara unveils sunglasses and optical frames with extremely refined styles, seamlessly combining classic and contemporary design. The new proposals offer an elegant take on the label's overall style.
The sunglasses set out to seduce with an attractive vintage look that is seen in their large, geometric shaped acetate models which reflect a Seventies look. The temples are adorned at the tenons with a metal buckle-logo, a particularly distinguishing detail. (Mod. MM 1091/S)

With an irresistible "Sixties" appeal, these ultra-feminine acetate and injection-moulded sunglasses feature a soft, oversized shape which positively oozes glamour. The wavy temples are decorated with a metal adornment featuring a new version of the logo, inspired by several of the maison's iconic accessories. (Mod. MM 1093/s)
An everlasting yet decidedly contemporary style, meanwhile, defines the Optyl sunglasses which cannot fail to enchant with their large, wraparound design. The temples are decorated with a small logo plate and feature an original "topstitched" effect, discreetly visible against elegant colourways. (Mod. MM 1078/s)
With a strong personality, these acetate sunglasses feature a geometric, retro-inspired shape. The colour palette accentuates the vintage mood with shades of streaked brown, green havana, streaked blue and black, against which the metal logo is visible at the tenon of temples. (Mod. MM 1102/s)
The optical frames collection presents a number of irresistible proposals, including the new rectangular shaped acetate frames that feature a "topstitched" effect on the temples, one of the maison's refined motifs. (Mod. MM 1084)
The rectangular shaped optical frames reflect a vintage style but have a modern appeal. Produced in acetate, these frames draw attention to its profiles, thanks to the arched shape of the temples. The colour palette proposes particularly chic shades. (Mod. MM 1087)

Other optical frames produced in acetate stand out for their contemporary design, evident in the rectangular front and the wavy line of temples. A metal adornment, the new version of the logo, enhances the profiles, silhouetted against sophisticated chromatic colour combinations of hazelnut/brown/grey, olive/pearlescent brown, brown/purple/white and total black. (Mod. MM 1096)
The Max Mara collection of sunglasses and optical frames is manufactured and distributed by the Safilo Group.
