SKECHERS Eyewear presents the 2011 collection

The new releases in the Skechers eyewear collection feature a youthful blend of artistic details and sporty accents, infused with the DNA of the SKECHERS brand.

Inspired by the details found in the SKECHERS footwear collections, the women's eyewear collection delivers a combination of trendy designs and innovative materials, such as double-injected rubber detailed temples and handcrafted acetate fronts, setting the tone for the frame's innovative styling by offering a soft rectangle front shape in contrasting color combinations, including black on teal, pearl brown on lavender, purple to light blue gradient, plum on red crystal and pearlized grey-green to crystal gradient. Select models feature a modified oval front shape in tantalizing colors, including black on teal, pearl brown on lavender, pearl purple on pink gradient, pearl navy on lavender crystal and fuschia on silver crystal. An engraved SKECHERS logo accentuates both temples, completing the chic look of this fashion-forward duo.

The optical collection includes two new men's styles that offer a blend of fashion-forward, yet sport-inspired style concepts. Inspired by the design elements of the brand's footwear, what catches the eye is an innovative laseretched stitch pattern on the handmade acetate temples of the frames, accented by a metal plaque with an engraved logo detail. Select models features a handmade acetate rectangular front in contrasting colors, including dark grey on green, dark blue on orange crystal and navy on green on milky light green. Sleek semi-rimless metal rectangular fronts are offered in variety of satin-finished metallic tones, including brown, gunmetal, navy and green, as well as solid black.



For the younger set, four new optical styles for girls are both fun and trendy. A flower and butterfly detail playfully accents a metallic logo banner on the handmade acetate temples of models SK 1502 and 1503. Model 1502 features a metal front in satin finishes, including blush, teal, plum and violet, while model SK 1503 features a handmade acetate front in chic colors, such as light purple, midnight blue, magenta and teal. Colorful glitter heart appliqués highlight the metal temples and tips of models SK 1504 and SK 1505. The SKECHERS Cali logo completes the look of this fun temple design. Model SK 1504 features a metal front in a satin finish, while model SK 1505 features a handmade acetate front in a mix of vibrant colors, including pink on orange, berry on purple and purple on magenta crystal.



The new optical styles for boys are designed for today's active lifestyle. Double injected rubber temple tips on models SK 1027, 1028 and 1029 provide a sporty look with the added benefit of comfort and fit. Accent colors, such as yellow, orange and green, highlight the overall design of these innovative temple treatments. A racing theme is reflected in model SK 1036, featuring a raised logo and racer stripe detail with a tread-like pattern laser-etched on the endpieces. Two tone colors add more excitement to these new styles.
