CIRCLE OF LIGHT 2011

Retina South Africa would like to invite you to be a link in our circle of light. This is an inexpensive way of making a contribution towards efforts to ensure that global initiatives to treat retinal blindness are brought to South Africa.

The genetics department at the University of Cape Town plays an integral part in this international effort and tests South African families to identify the genetic causes of retinal blinding conditions such as Macular Degeneration, Retinitis Pigmentosa and other allied Retinal dystrophies. They need R1m annually to maximize on their past success and ensure we are not left out of global clinical trials.

How can you help?

Contribute R240 per year per link and 50% of the income will go directly to our genetics project. 50% of the income will be awarded monthly to a draw prize winner. More links means more chances to win. We also plan to have surprise draw prizes of donated week ends and other additional surprise bonus draws.
