One must be a qualified optometrist to register for the course. Because of its nature only a limited number of places are available to do the full course. Selection will be done on first come first serve basis. Students will do a written assignment, a practical project and a written examination. The course is ideal for anyone who wants to practice sports vision and is suitable for optometrists who are in full time practice.

The Post Graduate diploma for Sports Vision is SAQA and CHE accredited. The formal qualification will allow you in future to also register with the HPCSA as a sports vision specialist. Will this count for CEU points? The course has been given formal approval for CPD and you will receive 60 points for the full course or 20 points per weekend.
