Transitions Optical promises inspiration and action at SILMO 2010
Visitors to the Transitions Optical booth at the 2010 SILMO international optical fair (23-26
September) will discover the latest in adaptive lens products, tools and business resources the
leading lens manufacturer has to offer.
Eye care professionals will have the opportunity to tour an inspirational optical store featuring
Transitions Optical’s new eye-catching point of sale displays as well as marketing and outreach
tools to help boost their businesses and enhance customer’s shopping experience. Computers will
be set up for attendees to explore the new trade portal focusing on the Transitions Optical family
of adaptive eyewear and the latest in programmes, marketing tools and education modules on
offer.
Booth visitors will also be encouraged to participate in an entertaining challenge, which aims to
dispel the misconceptions surrounding Transitions® adaptive lenses and which will in turn equip
them with the knowledge and confidence to recommend the lenses successfully.
Furthermore, every evening during the three-day event Transitions Optical will unveil portraits of
upscale and emerging frame designers wearing their own signature line of frames fitted with
Transitions® adaptive lenses. This will without a doubt showcase how Transitions® adaptive
lenses can be fitted into any designer frame; making them an attractive and stylish choice for
spectacle wearers.
