Following on from a very successful 2024 Centennial Conference hosted at the Emperors Palace in Johannesburg, the SAOA Conference 2026 has been specifically designed to balance academic excellence with opportunities to network with colleagues, local and international, in a relaxing environment in addition to planned social events and entertainment.

Great thought has been given to the Academic program giving special attention to the rapid evolution which affect the Profession of Optometry. The program is designed to encompass four tracks representing a mix of high-standard lectures, paper presentations, workshops, and posters, involving both local and international speakers.
