Job Title: Digital Optical Lab Supervisor/Manager (1-Year Overseas Contract)
Contract Type: Full-Time, 1-Year Contract
About Us: We are a leading provider of optical solutions, known for innovation and excellence in lens manufacturing and digital surfacing technology. We are seeking an experienced and driven Digital Optical Lab Supervisor/Manager to lead our overseas lab operations and ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily operations of a full-service digital optical lab, including surfacing, coating, finishing and quality control.
· Supervise and train a team of lab technicians to ensure productivity and quality benchmarks are met.
· Implement and maintain digital surfacing processes using equipment such as Schneider, Satisloh, or similar.
· Monitor equipment maintenance schedules and troubleshoot technical issues.
· Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
· Coordinate with supply chain and logistics to maintain inventory and workflow.
· Report to senior management and provide regular performance updates.
Requirements:
· Minimum 5 years of experience in an optical lab, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
· Strong knowledge of digital surfacing, AR coating, and lens finishing processes.
· Experience with lab management software and production tracking systems.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently in a multicultural, international environment.
· Willingness to relocate overseas for the duration of the contract.
Preferred:
· Familiarity with international optical lab standards.
