This is a full-time position for a qualified Optical Dispenser at a well-established independent optometry practice located in a dedicated medical centre in Stellenbosch. The practice focuses on offering personalized services in a friendly and welcoming environment.
You will be working closely with the Optometrist in providing the best possible patient care. You will be providing expert advice on lens options and the choice of frames, assist patients with frame adjustments and repairs, and run our on-site fitting lab. Maintaining a high level of accuracy and patient satisfaction is central to this role. Further will you be involved in stock management and assist with general administrative duties.
Requirements:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Optical Dispensing
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of optics and optometric principles
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build long lasting relationships with patients
- Experience in fitting optical lenses will be beneficial
- Fluency in Afrikaans and English a prerequisite
