Dr Dean van der Westhuizen Inc. is hiring an additional full-time Ophthalmic Assistant to join our team in our new rooms at Lowveld Eye Institute, Mbombela.
No experience? We will train you properly. Experienced applicants are very welcome too.
What you’ll do:
- Take patient histories, test vision and eye pressure
- Dilate pupils and capture OCT and retinal scans
- Support biometry, theatre and injection lists
- Capture clinical data on our digital, paperless system
- Keep patients moving, informed and at ease
What we’re looking for:
- Matric
- Computer literate and quick with technology
- A warm, clear communicator who loves giving great service
- Enthusiastic, dynamic and eager to learn and grow
- A team player
- Experience is a bonus, not a must. Full training is provided.
