About the Role:
Are you a skilled and experienced Dispensing Optician looking for a new adventure? We’re seeking a qualified Dispensing Optician with at least 3 years of experience, who is emotionally intelligent, adaptable, and a true team player. You’ll be working alongside a dynamic and supportive team, providing outstanding patient care and making a real difference in a new community.
Key Responsibilities:
· Accurately dispense prescription eyewear and lenses
· Provide exceptional customer service with a patient-first approach
· Work collaboratively with optometrists and support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations
· Offer informed advice on frame styles, lens types and aftercare
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of optical products and industry trends
· Support the development of junior staff, when applicable
What we’re looking for:
· A fully qualified and registered Dispensing Optician
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· High levels of emotional intelligence and empathy
· A team-oriented mindset and a positive, flexible attitude
