Optical Alliance in conjunction with the University of Johannesburg, Optometry Department, hosted a Charity Golf Day at the Observatory Golf Club on Wednesday, 18 July 2018.
This day was organized in memory of the 100th birthday celebration of Mr Nelson Mandela. Three children’s homes were invited for eye testing to the venue and golfers, optometrists and suppliers were playing golf, buying four balls and hole sponsorships to raise money at the day.

The last kids left the venue by 16:30 after they have been given lunch (Kentucky sponsored by Falcon Labs, Juice sponsored by Hoosain Moola, private practice Springs). UJ sponsored Pizza which kept the little tummies from rumbling before lunch.
