IsoLeso in collaboration with the Graduate Institute of Optometry hosted the “Cutting – Edge” Seminar, which delivered a dynamic and content-rich programme, with delegates gaining insights from some of the most respected voices in the field.
Topics ranged from health reform, OCT, and myopia control to clinical pearls on examining young children, genetics and vision, retinal imaging modalities, glaucoma, strabismus referrals, grading lens opacities, premium lenses, and the evolving role of AI in diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma screening. Additional sessions covered fraud, waste, and abuse in healthcare, corneal epithelial mapping, and practice management software.
Hands-on workshops included scleral lens fitting, Rose K lens techniques, and foreign body removal — providing practical skills alongside the theory.
Saturday evening’s cocktail function was a highlight, offering delegates the opportunity to relax, reconnect with old friends, and build new professional relationships. On Sunday, we were pleased to welcome a dedicated group of optical assistants, who participated in sessions focused on screening skills, product benefits and features, and the latest technologies used in modern optical practice.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all our delegates, speakers, and especially our sponsors — without your support, this event would not have been possible.
Thanks to our generous sponsors!
